GoPro Mission 1 Pro ILS Finally Ships
The interchangeable-lens GoPro is no longer a trade show promise. The Mission 1 Pro ILS, using a Micro Four Thirds sensor and mount, is now available for pre-order and ships in early September, creating a new category for high-quality, riggable POV cameras. The question remains if the MFT image can justify the complexity over a stripped-down cinema body for crash cam work.

Apple Refreshes Mac Studio and Mac mini with M5/M6 Silicon
Apple dropped surprise updates to its headless desktops. The new Mac Studio features the M5 Max and a monster M5 Ultra built from four dies, while the Mac mini gets the M5 Pro and the debut of the first 2nm M6 chip. A serious performance bump for the edit suite.

Metabones announced four new II+ models of its Canon EF to Fujifilm X-mount Speed Boosters and Smart Adapters. A parallel firmware update also brings its improved TruePDAF phase-detect autofocus system to the new and existing Mark II hardware.
